If your airflow mattress looks dirty and old, don’t be in a hurry to throw it away. You can save a lot of money by simply getting it repaired and restored. For a care home, repairing mattresses can save a great deal of money rather than buying new ones. You can use the money on other essentials for your care home residents.

Trust Us with Your Mattress

At NHC Group, we know the entire process in and out. We arrange a free collection of your mattress. And if you have one too many, you can still give them to us all at the same time with no collection charges. We can collect as many mattresses as you wish to give for repairs.

Our mattress expert technicians will check the mattress and give you a no obligation quote for the repairs. If you want us to go ahead with the repairs, just let us know.

Our team will do the repairs, decontaminate and launder your mattress and return it to you within the stipulated time.

Should you decide not to go ahead with the repairs, we can return the mattress to you or dispose of it or free at your instructions.

Mattress Repairs and Decontamination

Your mattress is thoroughly inspected for damages. The pump unit is cleaned and the mattress system is checked for cell leakage, cell staining, top and bottom cover holes as well as the wiring.

We keep you informed about the progress of your repair job. Once the repair work is completed, the mattress is sent for decontamination using a hypochlorite solution. The mattress and its components are then washed with a neutral detergent at 60 degree and then cleaned using steam at 100 degrees.

The mattress is kept in a drying room for 48 hours and allowed to dry completely.

Mattress covers are also sprayed with hypochlorite solution and then washed in a washing machine at 40 degrees. They are tumble dried.
